I have a need for a Sons of Anarchy pairing that is ... unconventional to say the least. I say it's unconventional because there is nearly zero SoA fic, but of the fic that's written there is NONE of this.

Tara/Tig.

Yes, I am nuts. And as much as I ever ship any pairing ever I believe wholeheartedly in Jax/Tara BUT I'd still love to see some thank you for rescuing me smut. I'd love to see some get back at Jax smut. But do you know what I'd really love more than that? Courtly Love fic. Oh yeah, I'm a great big cliche [I'd also really love to see some Damon/Elena Courtly Love fic that segues into Damon/Elena/Stefan WHO WILL WRITE THIS FOR ME?]

I digress.

So. Tara and Tig and Tara/Tig. There's totally basis for either of these scenarios in this season. The whole thing with the cover up with the nurse, and then Tara bailing him out of jail, and now the rescue.

The thing is, I LOVE how Tig is with Tara [and with Gemma -- that scene last season SMOKING HOT]. I love how he calls her Doc when he's being casual and how he says her name when he's being serious. I love how she sort of knows just how deviant he is [canonical necrophilia FTW] and still can hang out with him and be chill.

Did I mention how much I love Tara in general? I get really annoyed in the few SoA comms I follow and see people talk about how much they hate her. They don't hate her, they want Jax for themselves and that's just stupid and lame so I mostly roll my eyes and skim past.

I digress again.

But yes. I NEED Tara/Tig. I wasn't planning on signing up for Yuletide this year because of how much I have going on in my life, but seeing as how it may be my only chance ever in getting this pairing? I guess Imma have to.

You guys. The Vampire Diaries is like ... the best paced, never predictable, most engaging, show with Strong Women Characters, hot-assery left, right, and everywhere that just makes me go

1) rushed
2) forced
3) out of left field
4) predictable

Perhaps predictable if you've read the books [I haven't]

The Vampire Diaries season 2 begins next Thursday. In honor of this amazing occasion iphignia939 has quite helpfully re-capped season 1 in case you missed it, or possibly need a refresher, or need a little extra push before you run to the store and buy the DVDs of season 1 that came out this week.

* If Rodney McKay were here, he would have had that oil spill fixed before he could finish telling them how monumentally incompetent and absolutely deserving to die by Wraith they were.

Spock would have delivered a lecture on how illogical it is to not have multiple fail-safes built in and and repair it in just as short an amount of time.

Batman would have been monitoring all deep-sea rigs around the world, known about the danger before BP, built something in his cave and installed it before the leak ever happened and *then* he would have gone to BP HQ and put the fear of the God Damn Batman in the CEO.

Where are all the smart *real* people? Why isn't this fixed? Why was it allowed to happen in the first place?

Who do you think would solve the problem best and what kind of beat-down would they give to BP?


* Jeremy Gilbert is fucking *built* under those emo clothes of his. I bet he was on the wrestling and soccer teams. I bet he could kick Tyler's ass hands down if he had been sober in that one episode and/or Tyler wasn't powered up by the full moon.

* I'm not a shippy person. I don't want to read OTP/3/whatever fics. I don't watch shows with an eye to certain characters getting together or not. That said, where are all the slash fics where people are sexing up Jeremy? Seriously, he has crazy, insane, MAD, chemistry with every single man on the show. Except for Matt.

* The Vampire Diaries cast is the hottest ensemble I've ever seen. Seriously, they're all so perfectly gorgeous it's almost painful to look at them. Where does the CW keep finding all these gorgeous, gorgeous people?
