turnonmyheels: (GG #1)

How fucking awesome was *that*? Seriously, I loved every minute of that episode, even the Jenny-what-the-hell-oh-I-Hate-you-so-why-do-I-care? moments. It's nice to see teenage angst and drama and peer pressure be over something other than drugs.

Dan continues to bore me. I'm very indifferent about him and his Brandon Walsh ways. Serena while a pleasure to watch and generally is a shining character loses some of her sparkle when she's standing next to him, or lying beneath him.

Chuck walking in on them? PRICELESS. I love Chuck *so* much. I knew he was innocent, Chuck may be the rottenest bastard in the Upper East Side but those deliveries were beneath him. I was very pleased Serena went to apologize (though she could have explained to his dad who kicked out over it [way to screw your boy up even more Dad!]). I like that the tensions between Chuck and Serena spilled over onto Eric and that Eric is taking Chuck's side.

Of course, at the breakfast table, I caught Chuck giving Eric this look of, "come this way little boy, I will break you in half, chew you up, and spit you out a brand new, broken man"

TV Guide says that one of the cast will have a coming out arc. I'm voting for Eric. I think that's probably some of why he tried to kill himself. Chuck? Could so twist that and manipulate it and break that boy into a million teeny tiny pieces and I think Eric would like it.

Surely, someone is writing this porn, yes? Yes? No? Am I that sick in the head?

Blair Waldorf rocks my socks. Her plan was golden and while it didn't work out in the end - I can NOT believe Nate whored himself out for Jenny like that - I really do believe she'll get it back. She won't move beyond the scene, it's not in her make-up but Jenny will pay. And so will the others. Also Dorota and Blair are my favorite on-screen pairing next to Blair and Vanessa.

I hated not getting any Rufus/Lily, but Lily with an obvious hang over at breakfast was fun. Hell, the ENTIRE episode was fun. I was glued to the screen completely enthralled the entire time.

I'm sure I'm forgetting a hundred thousand things.

In conclusion, Gossip Girl FTW.

I'm so excited to see this tonight!

I can't believe what I'm hearing about Nate and Jenny. Why would he bother? She doesn't look that much like Serena.

I'm almost more angry at him than at Jenny. Jenny has reason to hate Blair (though I still like Blair better). But Nate? Yes, Blair slept with his best friend--just like he slept with her best friend. Asshat.

EXACTLY!!

Nate is an equal opportunity "I'm pissed at you" cause he still hasn't forgiven Chuck. HYPOCRITE!!!

I think the Jenny thing is more him helping out a friend. Or something. It's very annoying.

I really hope the friending-Jenny thing comes back to bite him in the ass. His is a very nice ass, but still.

It is a very nice ass. All of them are very nice asses. I want Jenny to get her comeuppance - I want her grounded and not allowed to leave the house for the rest of the year. She *deserves* it and much much more after what she pulled in the last episode.

What she deserves--and this is more corrective therapy than punishment--is to be pulled out of that shark tank of a high school and sent to a nice, artsy, public school. Somewhere she could put that design talent to use and not feel like a freak for hailing from the upper-middle class.

Rufus is mostly to blame for this. If she's more artistic than academically gifted, unlike Dan, she has no business being in a school designed to funnel students into the Ivy League. If nothing else, she'd be better off in a good regular public school and taking occasional classes at the Fashion Institute.

(And yeah, I do realize these aren't real people ::g::)

That would be too logical and helpful for the poor basket case. Rufus really let down his parental guard over the hiatus (aka spring break) and Jenny is paying for it. I keep forgetting that up until last night she was *14*. The mind boggles. A lot.

I like Dan, I like Serena, but Dan/Serena scenes are *yawn*.

Chuck was so ON last night. Ever scene with him was perfect. I knew Chuck was innocent, but I'm also a little spoiled (accidentally) for the next few eps.

How is Blair so awesome?? Even when she's not the winner of a situation she's still awesome.

In conclusion: What was up with Chuck's cardigan?

Silly, Chuck's wardrobe isn't for peasants like you and I to understand. It's not just fashion it's haute couture. Seriously, everything about Mr. Chuck Bass was perfect last night. Same with everyone, it was stand out return, unlike the past two Bones episodes which have hurt my heart a little they were so lame.

::snort::

Blair is the awesomest teenage bitch I can *ever* remember. EXCEPT for Ms. Cordelia Chase, but that was different because there were vampires.

Very true. Oh, Chuck, sometimes you're haute couture makes me happy to be a pauper, but I love you anyway, always and forever.

Last weeks Bones made me happy, last night's ok. But then I'm biased to anything David related so...

Just finished the ep. Wonderful. I adore Chuck, too. And I have been rooting for some Chuck/Eric boy-on-boy action. Oh please, CW, give a girl what she needs. *g*

I knew I could count on *you* at least for the Chuck/Eric action.

TOMORROW!!

You're landing at 5, right? Text/call me if there are any delays. Do you have a layover or are you direct?

Date: 2008-04-23 05:58 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] moosesal.livejournal.com
I'm direct. I'll text if there's any change. I'm flying US Air instead of United, so I'm hoping for better on-time schedule. We shall see. :)

The Chuck/Eric has so much - age difference, almost incest, experience/innocence -- what's not to love?

I'm crossing my fingers that it's on time. And that the stupid airline doesn't randomly cancel your flight.

Yes, C/E has much MUCH to love. It's his replacement Nate. Only younger with less Blair.

There's also the same light/dark you get with Serena/Blair which is always pretty.

I totally agree. I love that contrast.
