Work has been crazy! Apparently when you bid a lot of jobs and then you GET the jobs, there's a lot of stress/managing the project until it's over with. Hello, welcome to me doing my full job to the best of my ability. It's been an adventure. I didn't have twenty seconds to rub together last week! It used to be I didn't have twenty seconds of actual work to do. I really love this change and I'm actually not missing the reams and reams of fic I used to read all the time to stave off boredom.

Fannishly speaking, I'm not feeling fannish AT ALL. I have little to no desire to read which is good I guess because I'm busy at work and I'm still so angry at a couple of SoA characters that I *can't* write that at the moment. I don't even care about Yuletide! How can you be a fangirl and not care about Yuletide?

Shows I have tried (and dropped): Marvel's Agents of SHIELD
Vampire Diaries
Necessary Roughness

Show I refuse to try because I have learned my lesson:

Things that make me happy:
Good Wife
Elementary
Dancing With the Stars
Suits --Hulu still hasn't aired all the eps yet

Things I love but often have to turn my head away from the violence:
Sons of Anarchy -- JFC Sutter, I could really stand episode or two where I'm not nauseous
Strike Back -- surprisingly not as violent as SoA!
Graceland -- not the violence so much as the needle usage I can't look at that and Hulu still hasn't aired all the eps yet!

Things I can't help but watch:
America's Next Top Model
Sleepy Hollow <-- I like this so far!

Looking forward to:
Arrow
Almost Human
Vikings -- can we get some more Vikings please?

Loved to bits although I disagreed with the outcome:

Still haven't watched a football game this season -- and I am at peace with this. The Steelers being 0 -5 is helping me be at peace with it.

Yeah, there are times where it's kind of nice to be too busy with real life to get to fannish stuff, too. I'm surprised you're skipping the football - that explains how you made the time to throw a gorgeous dinner party :D.

When I bought the house, I got in the habit of working all day Sundays. After I moved in, I would still work all day Sunday and I would play music instead of football *unless* it was a game I wanted to see. For three years now I think I've seen ... 10 games. Now that I don't have cable it means I'll have to go somewhere if I want to watch it and ... life without football is apparently easier and cheaper. Who knew?

Easier and cheaper is good! I'm also way more inclined to snack and drink while watching games (especially watching in a pub), and realized I felt better when I didn't do that. Hard-earned wisdom FTW.

I actually totally agreed with SYTYCD... well the girl parts. I didn't agree with the boy parts.

The boy parts were definitely wrong. If you compare the two side by side dance by dance, Fik-Shun just didn't have the technique.

Girl-wise, I think I just loved jasmine so much because she was my favorite boys partner. I wasn't nearly as upset with that outcome

Fik-shun had an amazing personality and that is what won. Not his technique, although he was vastly improved from the beginning.

But Amy... I adored Amy from day one. Every time I watched her I just had the biggest grin on my face, something about that one.

In other news, glad you are so busy. I hate not having anything to do at work.

He did have an amazing personality and he grew so much during the season. All of them did. Some seasons are better than others, this one was much better than last years.

And you know, Katherine is one of my favorite dancers *ever* and she didn't win her season, not winning isn't the worst thing that can happen to those kids.

Yeah, dropped TVD and won't touch The Originals. I'm giving SHIELD one more episode.

Um. Yeah. (As an aside, I so want a Stonebridge hustles the Sons at pool, and Chibbs makes him and warns his brothers, don't even think about getting that money back, or you'll be picking up your teeth with broken fingers.)

If people start talking positively about Shield I'll try again, but the production values are SO LOW they make shows on CW look like Hollywood blockbuster and that makes zero sense.

I'd love to read that fic! There were three instances last season on SoA where I had to look away and cover my ears because I didn't need/want that image in my life. So far, I've had to do it every episode this season and ... I don't enjoy it. I think that's the most positive thing I can say about it.

I'd forgotten about Banshee! I'm looking forward to that!
