Lost Girl Is Back! And WOW I'm already super excited for this season. I love that show. I love all the characters, I love that our heroine is a bi-sexual succubus with a completely platonic human BFF. I love all the different types of fae I love the dark, I love the light. I love how cheesey it can be, I love how sexy it can be.

I do not love Lauren. And it's not because I want Bo to be with Dyson or Kenzi [I actually really like Dyson/Kenzi, thank you or Dyson/Kenzi/Hale or Kenzi/Hale and Bo with whomever she's hungry for] or some other character we haven't met. It's because IMO the Lauren actress can't emote her way out of paper bag. I also don't feel like there's a real sexual chemistry between her and Bo which is a damn shame because Bo has off the charts sexual chemistry with EVERYONE [except maybe Trick] and Lauren.

I caught The Following last night. I like the premise, escaped serial killer with a fan following that does his evil bidding. I would watch James Purefoy do just about anything at all and him portraying a Poe obsessed professor that happens to messily mutilate people on the side? YES PLEASE I'LL HAVE SECONDS. I'll hold further comments until I've seen more.

Good Wife has thankfully left behind the Kalinda plot I was disliking so much and has instead turned a corner with Alicia being a sexual human being THAT IS DELIGHTING ME TO NO END.

Elsbeth Tascioni was featured this week and she's just about my favorite recurring character. Hang on, I say that about *ALL* the recurring characters, but they are really all GREAT. I'm just crossing my fingers that the rest of the season stays on track since it was so wildly off the rails earlier.

I haven't caught anything else yet, but I will. I've been battling my DVR and had difficulty getting Suits and Vampire Diaries, I have since acquired them through later showings and will catch up soon.

Star Trek Soup Group: I've no idea where we left off, we've had a few viewings since the last time I posted. Last episode we watched was the first time travel episode. The Enterprise was orbiting 1960ish earth. There were American astronauts, and some super extraordinarily bad science where the Enterprise sling-shotted around the sun to get back to the right year. O.O

I haven't seen this weeks TGW, but I was Elsbeth was in the last one and looked like she'd be around - Love her, and the way the rest of the cast interact with her. I was thinking about how the whole Kalinda thing was pretty well Dropped, and I could really use with her at least finding out about Cary, but the last few have been pretty delightfully written. Maybe that's what I'll watch tonight :D.

I watched the first few Lost Girl, and agree that it's silly sexy fun. The one where she was impersonating a campus police officer and her uniform was infinitely more skin tight than any other officer made me clap with glee, cuz she ran with it. Maybe I should, ahem, acquire more of that, too. :D.

The Elsbeth ep was the last one, due to football reasons I believe so I think you're up to date. I *loved* Peter's expression when Alicia walked out of the bus. He felt used I think for the first time in his life. IT WAS AWESOME.

Ha ha! That episode was pretty terrible but yet it was still really awesome too. The best thing about LG is that it really does get better the further into the series you get

Oh, man - and then when she turned to Eli and was all, "Don't worry, just the wife!" she Owned that SO HARD, it was delightful. Even if I kind of don't like Peter, that made me happy.

Yeah, I figured it'd probably even out a little, cuz nothing could continue to be that terrible and awesome simultaneously for long :D.

Eli's expression WAS GOLD. I laughed so hard at that, god it was awesome. I don't like Peter at all, but I like that Alicia feels so strongly for him, I just wish he wasn't such a douche she deserves better than douche.

Considering Will and Peter are the only love interests that we know of I'd say Douche is just her type.

Season 1 LG is really bad. The back half of season 2 is pretty damn awesome.

Yeah, I think part of my problem with Peter is that I don't think the show has sold me one why she'd like or love him. I can see the political respect, and they do have really great communication around co-parenting. But, yeah, douche. OTOH, I'm all for Alicia using him for sex *g*.

That's my problem too. They've shown us every aspect of that marriage and why it works/doesn't work except for the one thing that's supposed to make it work, the love.

But you know, Alicia's such a controlled and contained individual we might be frightened if we ever saw her love something as fiercely as she loves her children.

The Following is *really good* and I cannot, absolutely, cannot watch it. I adore James Purefoy but no. I hope the show does well, though! It's damn ambitious for network, particularly Fox.

I wish I could watch Lost Girl online legit :/

The gore? The gore was difficult for me, there were at least two occasions I looked away and was all, I really didn't need to see that.

Still, I have high positive hopes for the show.

I'm watching on SyFy so I'm a week behind people watching on Showcase. For whatever reason, I rarely if ever have problems with SyFy network. FX, CW, TNT, and USA have al been skipping, dragging, and blacking out.
