Saw X-Men First Class. It was a first class movie. I turned to J about half-way through and said, this is an AWESOME origins story.

Finished the novel Game of Thrones

I never expected them to kill Ned. Ever. I figured he would be on the wall with Jon. I knew Drogo was going to die but I thought it be in book four or five. I figured Danni would hatch those dragon eggs, but again book four or five.

I've been thinking all along that Jon was Robert's son by Lyanna. Now I guess we'll never know?

I *hated* Catelyn at the beginning. Despised her for how she treated Jon and how weak she was regarding Brannon. I don't feel that way anymore and I am ever so glad.

I'm worried about Arya. I don't want her trapped in the city eating that brown mess. I want her free in the woods with Nymeria [please someone tell me she gets her direwolf back? except don't because I don't want to be spoiled]

Just excellent all the way around I've already started book 2.

I'm kind of hoping the tv show doesn't kill Ned. I want Sean on my tv screen.

I agree, X-Men was a lot of fun, and emotionally satisfying, too! When our group looked up the Canon afterwards we were all, "wow, the movie did that better, waaay better". :D

Since DC is re-doing and *cough* destroying everything I love, I may go back and pick up the x-men. this movie was certainly enough to peak my curiosity

Yeah, as long as you thought of the comics and the movie as two different things with some of the same characters you could enjoy both, I'm guessing. Certainly I have friends who've enjoyed both, despite the differences.
