I have invite codes to Dreamwidth if anyone would like one.

With the exception of Fringe, I have watched all my "primary season" finales. It was a *great* season all the way around, I'm glad I dropped the shows I dropped, I'm *super* glad I stuck others out, and I wish wish wishwishwishwish Showtime would learn how to do hour-long drama as well as HBO. There is absolutely NO reason I should be bored in the middle of the Borgias, especially an episode where.every.single.borgias.fucksalot.

I know why *spoiler*Hines*spoiler* won, and it's not just the absolute TRUEFAX that he was a genuinely good dancer and fun to watch.

Curious? two words:

STEELER NATION

::cough::

So long as he had one itty-bitty iota of rhythm he was always going to win. Hands. Down.

I have interesting [to me] news: The Good Wife will air on Sunday nights in the fall. I'm glad of that because my Tuesday nights are over-crowded *year-round*. I'm curious if it will boost ratings or harm them. Surely it will be a boost since all the other good tv is on Tuesday?

Other interesting [to me] news: on Make It or Break It the surprise pregnancy was because the actress is pregnant, they really didn't intend to go there with the storyline. Which is VERY relieving on one hand, because that was the crack of all crack and I HATED that story line, but also worrisome, because that was my *favorite* character and now I wonder if I'll ever see her again. In fact, I'm worried about the entire show because ABC Family hasn't said whether or not they're going to renew it and all the storylines were tidied up so neatly ::bites knuckles:: I know it's lame, cheesey, and more unrealistic than even Smallville [boy howdy is that saying something] but I LOVE IT

I have caught up in the novel A Game of Thrones and surged ahead of the TV show. Something that surprised me

I never believed the incest and incest-babies would come to light so quickly. I certainly never imagined Ned would have a meeting with Cersei in the godswood and say it flat out. I was completely intrigued by their conversation, it was one of my favorite scenes so far.

Danyris' [sp?] story hasn't been given justice on the show, primarily because in the novel so much of it is in her inner-voice. I wish we had more of her on-screen. I wish there was more of her in the novel.

Why can't Arya suddenly be grown and kick everyone's asses?

Can Dany and Arya meet up and become BFFs that leads into soulmates? Pretty please?

It's a good thing I watched the Glee ::lamecoughlamecough:: finale this week. Otherwise I would have had NO IDEA that So You Think You Can Dance airs tonight \o/\o/\o/\o/\o/

YOU GUYS IT'S MY FAVORITE 'reality' SHOW.

This year I'm going to learn the National Dance Day Routine and teach it to my ZUMBA class. We may make a video and SEND IT TO THE SHOW. or not

::cough::

Real Life continues to be difficult, but not unmanageable. Yay? Things would be far more manageable if I had more money. This is true for most people, yes? Yes. I've discovered that "playing in the dirt" is fun if sweaty and quite rewarding. I guess I really am turning into my Memaw.

If you would have asked me even six months ago I would have told you there was NO WAY that I would ever enjoy gardening. Just goes to show, never say never

Those SYTYCD ads are mesmerizing!!!! OMG it's like those dancers aren't even human. Plus, everything is cooler in slow motion, baby. I'm watching tonight for sure.

Glee is like an abusive boyfriend you can't quite ever leave, because you always hope that *this* time he's going to change and be good. Because he has been good! And he might be again!

It really is like they're another species entirely. They look a *bit* like us, [us with only 5% body fat that is] but they're completely inhuman in movement. It's really gorgeous to watch.

I think I may have out and out enjoyed maybe 6 episodes of Glee. *maybe* The pilot had so much promise and unfortunately like all Ryan Murphy productions it just doesn't live up to its own hype.

But it could! If only they'd replace Finn and something called consistent character development.

::sighs::

But! Patti LuPone and Curt + Rachel having Breakfast at Tiffany's was really nice. And their duet was gorgeous too.

Wait, Patty LuPone was on Glee? Yikes! That's adorable. Children of today are going to be so much better educated about showtunes then previously :D.

Yay! I'm glad you're enjoying gardening! I love it because you can do it with so much gusto if you want - like mudwrestling, practically - or you can just pull a weed or two without mussing your linen suit. Well, ok, and I'm now getting tasty lettuce, and flowers are pretty, too. But I love that sometimes it feels badass :D.

She had a very brief cameo, it was endearing. Unfortunately that was all it was. No singing or talk of her history, or you know anything with substance, It is Glee after all.
