Let us forget how irritated I was last week with a couple of what I choose to believe were missing scenes instead of bad writing and instead focus on one thing:

My show did in 42 minutes last night what it takes other shows an ENTIRE season [or longer] to do.

And there weren't any missteps. No missing scenes. No where the hell did that come from. It was full on in character, understandably motivated, *3* completely unexpected plot twists, and one new character introduced.

Also. I may have quit Secret Circle too soon. I haven't watched last night yet, but I will and report back.

I never seem to have the time for something that takes brain. Or I'd rather bike (not that I've done that this week) and that means watching shows that *definitely* require no brain.

Is TVD not awesome that way. I'm amazed constantly at what they cram into an episode instead of like so many other shows, milking it out for all its worth.

My only complaint about last night's episode was the lack of Alaric. I need more Ric! Now! With Damon! Having the sex! But even without the Damon sex, I just want more Alaric.

ITA about the missing Ric, it was my only complaint in season 2. We need more of him all the time. Especially naked with Damon.

I've only read a couple little fics and am hesitant to seek out more fics, but naked Ric and Damon live in the back of my head all the time.

Don't seek. The slash is very VERY weak in the fandom. If you want to read stick with Caroline centric [very VERY strong fics], gen, there's some good Damon/fill in the blank but not as many as there should be

Yeah, I figure I'd be hard pressed to find this pairing done in a way that suits my personal taste and quality standards. That's why I just let them live in my head. They're quite happy there.

This makes me want to rectify the situation. I could spin it out of last week's episode that left me wondering what the hell happened and maybe get something long and meaty and hopefully good out of it.

My other mini-nano project is going to be some Sons of Anarchy fic. I want to write Jax/Trinity for certain. I also want to write some Juice/Chibbs + Juice/OFC, Chibbs/Same OFC, + Juice/Chibbs/Tig/same OFC.

What's a good crow eater name? Honestly, I think I should go with Brandi and make it the worst and most obvious Mary Sue of all time
