merfilly who asked for Helena (birds of prey) and Letty (the fast and the furious) and kindly let me play her in Black Canary/TFaTF 'verse.
"Tell me again why you dragged me to the desert?" Helena sounds angry but Dinah can tell that despite her posture, slouched low in the seat, arms folded across her chest, heavy-lidded eyes nearly closed - she's excited.
"To have some fun?" Dinah glances at Helena. "Take off the capes and cowls and let the wind blow through our hair?" She maneuvers the truck and trailer hauling their motorcycles next to Dom's silver Airstream then shifts into park and cuts the engine. "Make some friends?"
Helena glares at Dinah. "I've got all the friends I need, thanks."
Dinah grins back at her. "I think you've got room for a few more." They're barely out of the truck before Dom and his crew spill out of the Airstream, sweeping Dinah up into hugs and kisses. That doesn't mean Dinah's not paying attention. She sees it, hell feels the energy crackling around her when they make eye contact.
"Letty?" Dinah slings an arm around Letty and steers her toward Helena. "I'd like you to meet Helena, she's one of my best friends."
Dinah doesn't bother to hide her laughter when Letty's mouth curves into a sneer and Helena's eyes flash. Race Wars will be much more interesting with those two sparking off each other.
