Sometimes, I'm a wee-bit late to the party. I'm going to count myself lucky that I realized there was this potentially awesome show that I'd never heard about in time to watch season 1 before season 2 started [September]

People! Flist of mine! How could you not be squeeing all over town last season about the awesome amazingness of Sons of Anarchy? I'm through episode 7, and all last night I dreamed about fragments of episodes or still-shots of Jax.

I was talking with kadymae yesterday about Dean Bendis and who he needed to be in a crossover with. I'm stating right now, that if someone would write a Dark Blue/Sons of Anarchy crossover that wound up with some dirty, dirty Jax/Bendis sex?

You would *forever* be my favorite person. Off the top of my head there are only two people I can think of who even watch both these shows.

S got me started with season 1 and warned me it could be triggery, so I'd be remiss if I didn't share the warning. So far, while there have been some pretty damn bad moments it's not as bad as Oz <-- [which I love]

I read some Dean Winchester/Jax fic this morning which wasn't totally of the suck, but not exactly good reading either. Still haven't seen any Winchester/Bendis

Yeah, I think I know the fics you're speaking of & I wasn't too impressed, either. Jax was all wrong.

Let me get a few more eps of Dark Blue under my belt & then we'll talk again about Jax & Bendis doing dirty things. ;)

Jax was terribly wrong. ::sighs:: Good crossover fic of any kind is so hard to find.

I can wait *very* patiently for any sort of Bendis/Jax fic.

I think Dean would get a tremendous rush out of this particular undercover assignment -- I know I'd get a particular rush out of it if it was an on-going identity he maintained just for the shady contacts.

(No, don't even ask me to take that one on. I've got too many other things in the cue.)

I'm not a long hair fan either, but it does work for Jax. When I started watching the show his face was driving me nuts because I knew him but couldn't place where. When I IMDB'd Charlie Hunnam and saw that he's British I knew who he was before even scrolling down. He was in a couple eps of the Dawson's Creek spin-off Young Americans which I just absolutely loved (possible incest, girl with motorcycle in drag as a boy, what's not to love??). He was also in UK QAF.

I like that he's really quite sweet and has so much love and compassion in him. And then he's ruthless at other times. And it all flows so naturally. I never feel like the actor is working harder to be one side of himself than the other. He's absorbed it all so well.

I never feel like he's working at all, he *is* Jax. Usually there are moments when you tell the actor is making it happen instead of letting it. I haven't seen him do that with Jax.

I read something somewhere that said the creator had CH specifically in mind when he wrote Jax -- and that it just so happened that he got to cast him.
