I have a need for a Sons of Anarchy pairing that is ... unconventional to say the least. I say it's unconventional because there is nearly zero SoA fic, but of the fic that's written there is NONE of this.

Tara/Tig.

Yes, I am nuts. And as much as I ever ship any pairing ever I believe wholeheartedly in Jax/Tara BUT I'd still love to see some thank you for rescuing me smut. I'd love to see some get back at Jax smut. But do you know what I'd really love more than that? Courtly Love fic. Oh yeah, I'm a great big cliche [I'd also really love to see some Damon/Elena Courtly Love fic that segues into Damon/Elena/Stefan WHO WILL WRITE THIS FOR ME?]

I digress.

So. Tara and Tig and Tara/Tig. There's totally basis for either of these scenarios in this season. The whole thing with the cover up with the nurse, and then Tara bailing him out of jail, and now the rescue.

The thing is, I LOVE how Tig is with Tara [and with Gemma -- that scene last season SMOKING HOT]. I love how he calls her Doc when he's being casual and how he says her name when he's being serious. I love how she sort of knows just how deviant he is [canonical necrophilia FTW] and still can hang out with him and be chill.

Did I mention how much I love Tara in general? I get really annoyed in the few SoA comms I follow and see people talk about how much they hate her. They don't hate her, they want Jax for themselves and that's just stupid and lame so I mostly roll my eyes and skim past.

I digress again.

But yes. I NEED Tara/Tig. I wasn't planning on signing up for Yuletide this year because of how much I have going on in my life, but seeing as how it may be my only chance ever in getting this pairing? I guess Imma have to.

I'm having Yuletide issues this year. Tons of fandoms I'm willing to write for, and I'm adding books I've never even read. WTF is wrong with me? On top of that, I'm really unenthused about actually requesting fic. I don't know what to ask for at except for one fandom. *head desk*

What? They've limited how many fandoms you can offer this year? I spent hours whittling my list down to two pages. Now I've got to cut more? *weeps*

I've only settled on two requests so far. I've got "2001" and "To Live and Die in LA" as definites. And then I'm floundering between these:

Love and Human Remains (high on my list)
NCIS Los Angeles (for Hetty fic)
The Good Wife (for Blake and Kalinda)
Boardwalk Empire (for any of the women)
Fringe (for Astrid)

My problem is that I want something very specific for these and would not be happy with anything else. *sigh*

I requested Sons of Anarchy, Vampire Diaries, Make It or Break it, and an NICSLA/Chuck crossover wherein Kensi and Sarah have to work a case together.

I offered: Sons, Vampire Diaries, Make it, Dune, Gone With the Wind, Mists of Avalon [book], Birds of Prey [comic], Bring It On [all there are five? six? I've got them all it doesn't matter], The Good Wife, and Hellcats

I requested that FNL be moved off the list when they polled the com about that. I'm actually disappointed that they left it on. It's not obscure and it's even small any more.

I'm hoping Vampire Diaries will be so popular by Yuletide that it will seem silly it's there like Glee last year.

Yeah. I was surprised to see that FNL is still on the list, but Sherlock (which is new this year and just now airing in the US) was excluded because it's considered too big. Grr. That was what I most wanted to request. Oh well.

I forgot that Luther is on my possibly request list too. Decisions, decisions.

I started watching Luther last night. I had to go to bed before the end of ep 1 but I'll pick it up again soon.

The more I think on my requests, the more I'm sure Luther will be one of them.

I've heard lots of good things about the show, I just needed to be more awake or to have started watching earlier.

You are a sick and twisted woman! (which is one of the many reasons I love you to bits) While I'm not a fan of Tig/Tara, I would love to read about a friendship type bonding story. I do love the scenes of Tig with Tara and with Gemma. The whole thing with the nurse was awesome. His "you women are killing me!" was so funny.

I am indeed and so are you! I'd love to see them spend some time together, their interaction of any type fascinates me.

Tara/Tig could be sublime. I'd love to read Gemma/Clay Tig too. My SoA dream fic is actually the story of how Gemma went from being John Teller's old lady to Clay Morrow's old lady. I don't have an iphone but if I did I would absolutely buy the app because it gives a lot of character history we don't get on the show.

We both already have a reluctant and strange attraction to him as a character so this was just the next step, right? I love their individual interactions as much if not more than any other grouping of characters.

I've smoked a wee bit so I'm not going to keep talking about this. I keep typing out a sentence or two and backspacing madly. I did that for this post too, it took me nearly 2 days to get it written.

But. Tara. Speaking to Tara makes other characters automatically more interesting. She brings out something in all of the characters, makes them show sides they don't show elsewhere.
