I've seen them commenting in other people's journals.

I love Jeremy/the whole cast except for Elena. I really do. I also love how he's grown up in a reasonable way. Damon killing him was the best thing that ever happened to him outside of the "you can't die by supernatural means" ring.

This whole season has been amazing but last night really pushed my buttons with Stefan and Damon's bonding during a road trip.

... purely on a physical level, the way Jeremy was hugging Elena last night? My buttons. Hit. Hard. He was cradling her and I was melting into a puddle of awwwww.

But beyond that, there's no reason for incest in this verse, so no, no jeremy/elena.

The bonding was hysterical. God, this show makes me happy.

Speaking as someone without siblings, the way he was holding her head made me pause a bit. But! I don't have siblings! Or a close physical relationship with any of my family members so that was probably totally normal and I just don't have any frame of reference.

I love their relationship SO MUCH. GAH.

It makes me happy too.

Oh, no - that hug was not a sibling hug at all. That was a hello, my lover, I was afraid you were dead kind of hug. Your pause was justified completely.

I just have a thing for that kind of hug, in general. And I really do enjoy their relationship. They're siblings and they fight and they sometimes really dislike each other, but they're family. The way he took learning that she was technically his cousin and not his sister? That could've gone very badly for Elena, but it didn't. Because Jeremy is a really good person, underneath all the bullshit. Frankly, I think he's a better one than Elena.

I was super impressed with how he took the status change as well. Of course, I was generally a fan of Jeremy's from the beginning but much more so after he got involved with Anna. I love how much and how instantaneously they're ready to sacrifice *everything* for each other.

I have always loved Jeremy. He's pretty! And a woobie! And he treats his girls well and doesn't like when they're treated badly! With bonus angst!

I mean, seriously. How could I resist?

I really loved his plotline with Anna. I thought that was a great way to take the maturation that probably started with his parents death and solidify it on the right path, instead of the drunk/drugged path he was on before. I really, really want to see more of him with Alaric. They could have a nice father/son vibe both would appreciate a lot.

I'm pleased to see he's more involved, and more proactive, this season. I think that adds a great dynamic. And - he's Steve McQueen's grandson. How is that not awesome?

He's like, genetically made of win or some such!

Yes, I like him being included in the central plot a lot more than being on the outside. When Team Salvatore gets loaded for bear and Jeremy is right there and Alaric is there and freaking BONNIE is there [and of course my absolute favorite CAROLINE] it makes me happy in my happy spot.

If I had words right now, I'd be writing fic. Sadly, I have none at all. But god, I want them because I want to do character studies of Caroline so much, and Jeremy and of course, Damon screwing everyone would be awesome.

Did I really see you say Ian and Nina are hooking up? Because that is creepy. And Marsters all over again, thank you no.

that was a completely unsubstantiated rumor. but I did see actual youtube footage of Steven and Candace hooking up, while drunkenly dancing over the summer.

For purely selfish reasons I wish you had words too, I want to READ them.

I wouldn't do that with my siblings, though I've had friends with different heritages that even kiss each other. (including a family that kisses each other on the mouth) But from what we've seen of the Gilberts... it's odd in that context. We don't see that level of physical affection in Jenna or John's interactions with them. I think that's why it feels so irregular.

A certain level of dirty-wrong has never stopped me, however (note: my fascination with the Salvatores), so I love them tooooo. *g*
