Happy birthday [livejournal.com profile] femmenerd and [livejournal.com profile] keyweegirlie! Happy belated birthday [livejournal.com profile] coiledsoul

[Poll #1531001]

Happy weekend y'all. I'm extremely over-scheduled for the next 60 hours and while on one hand YAY shit to do, I'd really like some quiet time in.

Hmm. Maybe that 44 inches of snow the almanac is calling for over the next 32 days isn't going to be all that bad. I could do the P90, clean my house, bond with my cat, catch up on all the freaking media I've been missing out on, etc. etc.

FYI - I still haven't watched the FNL finale. I am completely unspoiled and would like to remain that way. I do have a sense of foreboding about it. I predicted a certain event would take place a couple of episodes ago and while I fully accept it as a viable plot device/character development, I'm not yet ready to see it happen. I realize, I probably should get on this soon as I may be inadvertently spoiled.

My cat is starting to look a little oily and every once in a while smells a bit funky. Not bad, just funky. I'm told this means she needs a bath. Like, in a tub with water and soap and shit. Methinks the Queen would be very VERY anti-bath [much like Johnny Depp]

Taking her to the groomer will actually make her hate you both. You for taking her, them for grooming her. Try the brushing first.

Chris and I finally watched the FNL and Leverage finales. You will love FNL and you will enjoy it more if you watch it unspoiled. And I know exactly what you predicted in advance because I had the same thoughts. Won't tell you how things go.

We finally finished Dollhouse too. Thank god that's over. I think I'm the only one on my flist who didn't like the show but kept watching anyway. Loved Topher and Adelle at the end, but otherwise felt like that was however many hours of my life that I'll never get back. *sigh*

I'm 2 behind on Leverage because the ep before the finale [which I started watching] lost fucking SOUND after the first commercial break.

I'm glad you think I will love it. I saw some "emotional" reactions in posts that have made me gun-shy.

I don't remember when I stopped brushing her every single day. Probably around the time she stopped laying down and purring over it and instead let me swipe it once or twice before trying to wrestle the brush. Back to daily brushin's.

I was so so SO glad Dollhouse was over. It was never what I hoped it would be and bored the shit out of me after a while.

Dollhouse really was boring. I'm glad I'm not alone in that opinion.

Also -- the last two Leverage's are a 2-part finale, so you'll want to get the one you lost sound on. Watching Christian Kane swing a baseball bat was pretty amusing.

Elliot put into words my feelings about baseball in the most perfect way ever:

I don't like any sport where you can't score on defense.

And I was like YES, YES THIS!. I did see him swing the bat- his hair was ridic curly and actually kind of cute. I watched for a while hoping the sound would come back on but eventually gave up and dl'd it. I'm planning to watch it soonish.

He does his best to play D when he body checks a runner coming into home. It's hilarious. And I, too, share the same feelings about the game.

That was awesome. I finished up the season and am excited for the next, which they're currently working on. I really *reallY* love the TNT filming/airing schedules
