good wife

For about 20 minutes, my heart pounded and I was on the complete edge of a fangirl flail because I THOUGHT the show was going to give us, Florrick/Agos and that they were going to take Kalinda on as a partner [because for realz nothing happens on that show without K's manipulation]

and then she chose to stay with the firm and I seriously contemplated writing ~100,000 Florrick/Agos/Sharma AU and then I was tired and went to bed.

DAMN YOU SHOW FOR TEASING ME WITH AMAZING THINGS THAT AREN'T GOING TO HAPPEN

ITA with everything you've said here. So much of this season has been completely out of left field and FAR more difficult to believe without suspending ALL belief.

Elsbeth was AMAZING but beyond that the entire scenario just feels bizarre.

Thankfully, not as horribly bizarre as that whole Kalinda thing, but still.

In my dreams, Alicia took her 300k put it with Cary's and they asked Kalinda to join as a partner. Kalinda accepted but wouldn't allow them to put her name on the sign.

Yeah, if the acting weren't so good, and the relationships so generally satisfying, I'd say the show had signs of jumping the shark, because they just keep flying from one crisis to another - I want to write them that it's a Drama, not a Dramalama.

OTOH, I really liked the bit where Alicia said she was an atheist. It makes me very happy when she asserts herself in small ways.

ME TOO. Alicia's anger and staunchness in defending herself in the past two episodes have made me cheer for her, so I will continue to tune in as long as those kinds of things keep happening
