I'm uncertain how the contract goes with FX but I do know Sutter had planned for 7 seasons all along.
If this were season 6, I could see how all the threads will lead up to a hell of a finale and then have everything unroll in the last season.
BUT THIS IS SEASON 5 -- JFC I don't think I can honestly handle two more seasons of this.
