The addict thing drives me nuts too, it's not what's going on at all. You're exactly right about it being more similar to an ED than anything else. I also really wish they'd let that personality trait [complete lack of control] surface in some other ways as well. I find it highly unlikely that Stefan is so out of control in only *one* facet of his life.
