Day 1

We're not talking about the blister on my left foot. We're not talking about the wanna be blister on my right foot.

We're *really* not talking about my itunes and the clusterfuck that is my ipod.

We're also not going to talk about the Zumba class I taught today with around 47 people [please see things we're not talking about 1 and 2]

It came today and I had to start it. I really want Sunday to be my "off" day and there's only one way to accomplish that, which is by starting on Monday.

I didn't bring it. I didn't go balls out. I set goals like the man said to do and in every single case I met them. At the time I was thinking, I'm not going balls-out enough. BUT He said to pace myself.

I'm a fitness professional I know how to pace myself! So I did. So I thought. I guess we'll see tomorrow when I struggle out of bed at 5:30 to do Plyometrics.

And I've got limp noodle arms that I can already tell are going to hurt like a mofo tomorrow.

It was chest and back day. Which means push ups, pull ups [I haven't put my bar together yet, much less put it on a door. They sent these nifty bands and with an empty closet rod I imitated the pull ups. I used easiest of the three bands they sent], and a couple of weight exercises.

It was also evidently the ab ripper day since that started immediately after the first part finished.

Does the ab-ripper always start up on days I'm supposed to do it? If Stoney doesn't answer I'll do some checking later.

My plan this week is to pace myself. See what the program is like, learn the form, make sure my breathing is in check and not kill myself.

We'll bring it after I know what the hell I'm doing ~.^

Um, yeah. Your idea of "pacing yourself" and "bringing it" may have bars set Quite a Bit higher than other folks, just fyi. If you have noodle arms, you're probably at Least Bringing It. If perhaps not pacing yourself as much as you thought *g*. But, hey, I'm guessing you'll still be rockin' those plyometrics tomorrow.

Your Zumba was still probably pretty rockin' - everyone else in the one class I took loved it, even though the instructor ended up dinking around looking for songs a Lot.

Right now I'm okay. I didn't sleep for shit and was stiff in bed but I got up and did the plyo and there's no OMGOW soreness.

I totally didn't bring it. But I will next time *g* Like all things there's a learning curve and once I figure it out I'll amp up the intensity. Plus I like being able to put on a bra with out screaming in agony.

Yeah, it's a really good idea to take anything new a little too easy the first few times - preserves the ability to walk without visible limping while also wearing supportive undergarments *g*. Go YOU for getting up and doing the plyo even though you weren't well-slept. Yay for no soreness!

I'm stiffening up. This is going to be *fun*

;-)

I craftily scheduled my monthly massage for today! Clever, clever B.
