I am so so sad Rita is gone. I found her to be just as twisted as Dexter in her own little way and I can't imagine what's going to happen now. Well, I can actually. I imagine the paternal grandparents will take Cody and Astor and Rita's mother will try to take baby!morgan but what I REALLY want is to see Deb and Dexter try to raise that baby. That shit would be dark!comedy gold.

I find myself, this season especially, getting really pissed off at Dexter and how his "Dark Passenger" winds up getting in the way of Debra's career. If he wasn't out wreaking havoc on Deb's cases, Miami Metro would realize she's the best damn detective they've got. I really hurt for her professionally this season.

I hope the writer's will be forced to tighen up Dexter's characterization and methods, he was so sloppy this season that it drove me nuts.

God, that was an awful ending. I was profoundly unsettled by it; it took me a long time to calm down enough to go to sleep.

You're right, though, that Deb and Dexter really ought to try to raise Harrison. That would be great.

And yes, it's a miracle he didn't get caught at some point this season; I was frequently worried about security cameras he might not have seen, because he didn't scope the sites beforehand.

Harrison's first word would shitmotherfuckerdamn! And I would laugh and laugh and laugh. I've been more concerned for Deb than Dexter this season. I've always really loved her but this season I loved her more than ever, she really seems to have matured. I hate that Lundy had to die for that to happen.
